Leonard Floyd carted off field after ugly leg injury

Leonard Floyd’s Sunday afternoon took an unfortunate turn in the fourth quarter of the Chicago Bears game against the Detroit Lions.

The former Georgia Bulldogs star and one of the brightest young players in the NFL today sustained what appears to be a serious right leg or knee injury.

Watch what happened on the play:

As you can see on the play, it was one of Floyd’s teammates, cornerback Kyle Fuller, who was diving to make the tackle but was pushed from behind, which directed him into Floyd’s knee and leg.

After trainers examined him on the field, the training staff took him to the locker room on a cart. The team immediately ruled him out for the rest of the game.

DawgNation will update this story as more information on Floyd’s injury becomes available.
