LOOK: Former Georgia QB Aaron Murray gave one girl a prom she won’t forget
A quick look at former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray’s Twitter account won’t show anything about taking a girl to prom.
Leave it to a mom to brag about her son instead. Lauren Murray screenshotted a Facebook post and then tweeted it out. The story reads that a girl asked Aaron Murray to prom and although he was busy initially, Murray eventually followed through on that request.

It appears the girl got the full prom experience with corsages, a limo, front-yard photos and of course plenty of Georgia colors.
A quick look into the Murray family shows an act like this is no surprise as Steve Hummer of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution wrote in 2013:
Back home in the Tampa, Fla., area, Lauren Murray emphasized that the family was not exactly swimming in regret over how this season has so undershot expectation. There has been a value in the struggle, she said.
“We have to look beyond the wins and losses to things big-picture, long-term that will serve our child,” she said. “Things like character.”
So what’s Murray doing now you ask? He’s moved his career above field level to the broadcast booth.
“CBS has been awesome,” Murray told DawgNation’s Seth Emerson in October. “I really love the family dynamic. I also grew up watching the SEC on CBS, it’s now kind of crazy that you’re part of it. So just hope keep getting better and better, and hopefully show those guys I can handle the bigger games. It’d be awesome to be covering the SEC one day. It’d be pretty sweet.”
