The Paul Finebaum Show pointed out an uncomfortable truth for Georgia football Tuesday.
Finebaum tweeted out a graphic that shows just how significant a Georgia loss this week would be. If the Bulldogs lose to Auburn on Saturday, they’ll finish the season 0-3 at home in SEC play. It would be the first time Georgia has gone a whole season without a home SEC win in almost 60 years.
And as Finebaum pointed out on Twitter, ESPN’s FPI gives Auburn an 81 percent chance to beat the Bulldogs.
Georgia finished the 1957 season 3-7. ESPN’s David Ching noted, meanwhile, that the ’57 season had a much happier ending for Auburn.

Looks like both teams are going to have major historical reasons to try to get a win this weekend.
