Jake Fromm is already very popular with Georgia fans. Given his weekend 1 performance and his general likability, fans are excited about what he could become.
His Twitter name, JakefromStateFromm, is an ode to a classic State Farm commercial.
And Fromm’s mother took the reference a step further, tweeting a picture of a number 11 jersey, Fromm’s number, with Khakis as the name on the back of the jersey. The photo of the jersey was taken by Sam Franco of 960 the Ref in Athens.
Fromm will be making his first career start on Saturday against No. 24 Notre Dame. He completed 10 of his 15 passes in week 1 and led the Bulldogs to a win against App State. Fromm and the Bulldogs kickoff at 7:30 p.m. on NBC.
