Kirby Smart came onto the SEC Nation set on Saturday morning with some presents.
Georgia’s second-year coach brought T-shirts for the show’s four-person panel, and they are sweet.
Inspired by the gold shoulder pads the Bulldogs defense puts on every player who forces a turnover, Smart showed off the shirts before passing them around. Check them out:
The shirts pay tribute to the legendary “Junkyard Dawg” Georgia defenses of an earlier era in Athens, while staying modern with the “savage” mentality that the current defensive unit emphasizes.
A Saturday afternoon photo from the UGA Bookstore shows the shirts are now for sale on campus.
The Bulldogs host Missouri at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Sanford Stadium.
