ATHENS — Four games into the season, Georgia got its most experienced cornerback back: senior Malkom Parrish.

Parrish came on the field in a dime formation, on Mississippi State’s third play from scrimmage.

Parrish, a two-year starter, missed the first three games after a broken bone in his foot required surgery. He returned to practice this week, though his reps were limited.

Georgia senior tailback Sony Michel, who was held out of the Samford game with a minor ankle injury, was also set to return to action. So was junior receiver Michael Chigbu, who missed the Samford game.

Quarterback Jacob Eason suited up after not doing so the previous two weeks but was not expected to play on Saturday.
