Mercedes-Benz Stadium congratulates Georgia before end of SEC Championship Game
Georgia appeared to be on its way to winning the SEC championship — only, there was 10:34 to play.
During the fourth quarter of the SEC Championship Game on Saturday, the big screen at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta prematurely congratulated the Bulldogs for winning the SEC title, according to ESPN’s Ivan Maisel. The image even showed a Georgia T-shirt that was for sale.

It may not have been over, but Georgia led 21-7 at the time the image was shown. No team has came back from a 14-point deficit to win in the SEC Championship Game.
