Blair Walsh was once a pro bowl kicker in the NFL. Now, the former Georgia great is out of a job.

The Minnesota Vikings announced on Tuesday that they were releasing Walsh. Walsh had made 12 of his 16 field goal attempts this season but also missed four extra points.

Walsh also famously missed a 27-yard game winning field goal in the Vikings playoff game last season.

In his career, Walsh has made 121 of his 142 field goal attempts. Before the 2015 season, Walsh signed a four-year $14.5 million contract. The former Georgia kicker made the NFL’s All-Pro team in 2012, and was the only rookie do so that season.

If the Vikings are looking to replace Walsh with another Georgia kicker, they may have to wait awhile. Rodrigo Blankenship, was named SEC Special teams Player of the Week last week and made two field goals against Auburn, is only a sophomore.
