National media predicting big things after Georgia dominates early signing period
It’s safe to say no team has had a better Wednesday than Georgia and Kirby Smart. And their recruiting efforts are definitely catching the eyes of the college football media.
The Bulldogs signed 3 5-star prospects in Jamaree Salyer, Cade Mays and Brenton Cox. Three previously committed 5-star commitments also signed their paper work to officially make them Bulldogs: Zamir White, Adam Anderson and Justin Fields, who is the No. 1 player in the country.
And a number of prominent college football media members have taken note. Greg McElroy declared that the Bulldogs were going to be a playoff contender for the foreseable future, while Paul Finebaum saying that this the first time Alabama has a legitimate contender.
Here is what some people are saying about the Bulldogs.

The thing that many Georgia fans are also aware of is the Bulldogs are not done yet. They still have a number of highly rated prospects still out there, such as 4-star tight end Luke Ford, 4-star linebacker Channing Tindall and 5-star cornerback Tyson Campbell.
In what was originally thought to be a down year for Georgia recruiting, the Bulldogs will have an excellent shot at finishing with the top class in the country. As of 4:30 PM, Georgia has the No. 2 class in the country, behind only Ohio State.
Georgia is also in the College Football Playoff this year, as it will take on Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl. That game is scheduled for Jan. 1
