Power outage strikes Disneyland ahead of Georgia, Oklahoma team visits
The state of Georgia and everything affiliated with it may have caught the power-outage bug.
A little more than a week after a power outage at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport caused hundreds of flight delays and cancellations, a new power outage is affecting the Georgia Bulldogs on the other side of the country in Anaheim, Calif.
According to Jennifer Brett of the AJC, Disneyland has lost power ahead of a visit from both Georgia and Oklahoma as part festivities before the Rose Bowl.

Brett reports that “Disney reps say it’s a temporary glitch and things should be up and running soon. To be sure, the impact is limited – everything’s working just fine in the area where journalists covering today’s Rose Bowl event are.”
A special trip to the park is included on the schedules for Georgia and Oklahoma this week, and there is a press conference with players and coaches from both teams scheduled live from Disneyland later Wednesday afternoon.
One tweet jokingly indicated that Baker Mayfield caused the power outage.

And patrons inside the park were obviously not thrilled with the developments.
How’s @Disneyland gonna have a power outage the day we paid $124 for peak day tickets?! 🙄
