One of UGA’s targets on the defensive line visited campus for the Alabama game this past weekend, but he never got a chance to talk to any Bulldogs coaches.

Michail Carter, a 4-star defensive lineman from Jackson High School, who is also strongly considering Alabama, told the AJC’s DawgNation.com why that was.

“We kind of got there a little late,” Carter said. “We got there around kickoff, so we didn’t get a chance to get comfortable with all of the other recruits and talk to some of the coaches or players, but overall, I had a good experience.”

The 6-foot-4, 302-pounder said he couldn’t talk to the coaches or players afterward because he had to leave.

Despite not talking to coaches on his unofficial visit, Carter said he wasn’t disappointed because he speaks with them all of the time.

In the video above, Carter answers whether or not the 38-10 loss would cause him to be concerned with UGA, he also says who he paid close attention to on the Bulldogs defensive line.
