MARIETTA, Ga. — Georgia’s 2018 class is among the nation’s elite, but in a scary proposition for SEC opponents, 2019 is already shaping up to be even better.

Five-star Marietta (Ga.) receiver Dominick Blaylock is a big reason for that. The nation’s 11th-ranked recruit according to the 247Sports composite rankings committed to Georgia over the summer, and he put up big numbers in a win over Woodstock High School on Friday that sealed a region championship for Walton.

Blaylock, the third-ranked player in Georgia in the 2019 class, posted 135 all-purpose yards and 3 touchdowns in the win, moving Walton to 10-0 overall. Blaylock now has 552 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns on 33 receptions, and has added 114 yards and 3 touchdowns rushing.

Blaylock is one of three 5-star commitments in Georgia’s 2019 class, which is currently ranked second nationally. He is joined by Ellenwood (Ga.) WR Jadon Haselwood and Bradenton (Fla.) DE Nolan Smith. Blaylock is also doing more work for Georgia on the recruiting trail, telling DawgNation that he wants 4-star tight end Ryland Goede to join him in Athens.
