Last year’s UGA-Florida game didn’t go according to plan for the Bulldogs.

The Gators dominated the Bulldogs in a 38-20 victory, despite Florida only throwing the ball six times.

Ahead of this year’s  much-anticipated matchup, we polled a handful of UGA targets and commits to see if they think the Bulldogs will get revenge this year.

Check out their predictions below.

Elijah Holyfield, 2016 4-star running back (UGA commit): “I have Georgia in this one 24 to 20 in a late fourth-quarter victory. I think Sony Michel is going to have a big game. I’m going to say he gets 31 carries and 161 yards.”

Julian Rochester, 2016 4-star defensive tackle (UGA commit):  “UGA 31-14. It is going to be a hard-nosed fight for the first 2-3 quarters to feel each other out. I feel like Georgia will lead 17-14 and then pull away with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter.”

Chad Clay, 2016 3-star defensive back (UGA commit): “UGA is going to win 20-17 due to great defensive play.”

Darion Anderson, 2016 3-star wide receiver (UGA commit): “I think UGA gets the win 24-21. Florida is a good team so it’ll be a close one.”

Davion Curtis,  2016 3-star wide receiver (UGA commit): “We will beat Florida by 7 and the score will be 28 to 21. We lost a lot of people due to injuries and it’s going to be hard to score on both sides, so that’s why I say the game will be tough.”

Mecole Hardman, nation’s No. 1 2016 athlete (uncommitted): “I don’t know. I’m neutral. There’s no home field advantage, well Florida kind of does, but it’ll be a good game.”

Demetris Robertson, nation’s No. 2 2016 athlete (uncommitted): “I think Florida’s defense will be key in this game if they show up. It’s going to be a long day for UGA. With that said, Florida 31, UGA 17.”

Tyler Simmons, 2016 3-star wide receiver (uncommitted): “I’ve got Georgia. I don’t have an exact score, but I feel UGA needs to win to take the SEC East so I feel like they will come in with a brand new attitude and be able to keep all the goals they have for this season in place.”

DeAngelo Gibbs, Georgia’s No. 1 prospect in 2017 (uncommitted): “I think UF will win since Chubb is out.”

Tyler Smith, 2017 4-star wide receiver (uncommitted): “It’s going to be a good game, but UF will win 31-17 because their defense is too good.”

Nate McBride, 2017 5-star linebacker, according to Rivals (uncommitted): “UGA will win 21-20. I think Georgia has a fire lit under their butts and they will overcome Florida because they don’t have Will Grier.”

Trey Blount, 2017 4-star wide receiver (uncommitted): “Georgia will win 27-24. I believe the offense is going to step up in a big way this week and the defense will play well this week. They may need to come up with a timely turnover when needed.”

Jamyest Williams, nation’s No. 1 2017 athlete, according to 247Sports (uncommitted): “I think UGA will pull it off with the 34-24 win because of UGA’s defensive backs. I think that they will get after it, and I also think (UGA running back Sony) Michel) will have a great game.”

Shawn Smith, 2017 4-star defensive back (uncommitted): “I really think UF is going to get them this week because of the injuries UGA is facing. Florida’s defense is raw this year.”

LeAnthony Williams, 2017 4-star defensive back (uncommitted): “I think UGA just has to come out and play hard, but UF will win 28-24.”

William Poole, 2017 4-star cornerback (uncommitted): “I think it’s going to be UF 24 and UGA 21. I just UF is just an overall better team than Georgia this year.”
