BREAKING: 3-star safety has made his decision between Florida and UGA
Jeawon Taylor is still going to Florida.
The 3-star safety from Montgomery, Ala. chose Florida over UGA at his National Signing Day ceremony on Wednesday. Taylor took a late official visit to UGA and was considering a trendy pick for UGA to flip on National Signing Day.
Taylor is regarded as an instinctive and savvy player. His high school coach told DawgNation that he was already adept enough to call all the defensive coverages for the junior varsity program at Park Crossing High School.
Taylor’s decision could have been seen as an early tell for what might happen with his good friend Lyndell “Mack” Wilson. If he flipped to UGA, then that would have been another reason for Wilson to choose UGA.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder is rated as the nation’s No. 20 safety for the Class of 2016.
