BREAKING: 5-star OLB has made his decision between UGA and Alabama
Kirby Smart could not do the near-impossible. He could not pull a 5-star LB away from the Alabama Crimson Tide regardless of how long the two have known each other.
Lyndell “Mack” Wilson, the 5-star linebacker from Alabama, chose the Tide over UGA with his signing decision on Wednesday. He took an official visit to UGA on Jan. 15 and narrowed his choices down to UGA and Alabama last Friday.
The chances of him going to UGA had actually gotten pretty tight over the last few days, but he opted to stay in-state and play for Nick Saban in the end.
The 6-foot-3, 236-pounder ranks as the nation’s No. 2 OLB and the No. 15 overall prospect for this year’s signing class.
