BREAKING: UGA picks up blazing speed for its secondary with Eric Stokes
Eric Stokes was the first new Georgia Bulldog of the day.
That only made sense. He’s used to getting to the finish line first when it comes to his athletic career.
The 3-star CB from Eastside High (Covington, Ga.) chose UGA over Florida and Ole Miss in a ceremony from his school on National Signing Day.

Stokes is rated as the nation’s No. 63 cornerback for the Class of 2017, but he can also blaze the 100 meters in 10.4 seconds. The 6-foot, 175-pounder is a multiple state champion in track.
He becomes the 24th commitment of the Class of 2017 at UGA.
This decision definitely adds some doubt that Georgia can flip Grayson 4-star CB Jamyest Williams from South Carolina at 2:15 p.m. ET today.
