Georgia continues to add to its list of talented walk-on additions for the 2017 class after picking up a commitment from tight end Wix Patton.
Patton is the third walk-on Georgia has added this week, following kicker Brooks Buce and outside linebacker/defensive end Kolby Wyatt, who committed earlier Sunday. Georgia’s 2017 class ranks third nationally behind Alabama and Ohio State with just a handful of days remaining before National Signing Day. Georgia currently doesn’t have any scholarship tight ends expected to join the program next season, but the Bulldogs brought on both Isaac Nauta, who played extensively as a freshman, and Charlie Woerner, who can flex between receiver and tight end positions, last season.
