Latavious Brini committed to Georgia back on July 3.

That interest level waned after that. Brini told DawgNation his commitment was down to 87.6 percent before he de-committed from the Bulldogs in October.

The senior from Mater Academy Charter in South Florida had the chance to re-commit to join Georgia’s highly-rated class on National Signing Day.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect did just that.

He’s rated as the nation’s No. 42 cornerback prospect and the No. 377 overall player for 2017. Brini is now the third cornerback that decided to play for Georgia on National Signing Day.

The Bulldogs now have 26 commitments in the Class of 2017.

The decision should closely the book on what might happen for Georgia in the next hour. Grayson 4-star cornerback Jamyest Williams will make his decision at 2:15 p.m. from his school.

He rates as the nation’s No. 8 cornerback in this signing cycle.

Williams is currently committed to South Carolina but has shown strong interest in Georgia as of late. Williams is an Athens native.

His father named the Bulldogs the leader heading into his final official visit to South Carolina last weekend.  “50-50” after his son’s final official visit to South Carolina last weekend.

James “JJ” Williams then felt the two teams were “50-50” after his son’s final official visit to South Carolina last weekend.

Georgia picked up commitments from 3-star cornerbacks Ameer Speed and Eric Stokes early on National Signing Day.

SEC Country will be there to broadcast the ceremony live from its Facebook page.
