Do you want to get excited about the future of UGA football?
Then watch these clips from UGA commits from their high school football games this weekend.
From here until the end of the high school season, we will highlight the best plays from UGA commits and/or targets. To check out how all UGA commits and targets did this weekend, go here.
Here we go.
Malek Young, WR/DB, Coconut Creek, Fla. (committed to UGA)
This was by far the most impressive play from a UGA commit or target this weekend.
Young, a 3-star commit, made a one-handed catch on a bubble screen and broke six tackles en route to a touchdown.

That is one of the most impressive touchdowns you’ll see on any level of football. Young led Coconut Creek to a 41-21 victory over Marist.
Charlie Woerner, WR, Rabun County (committed to UGA)
This catch is a perfect example of “Mossing,” which is a tribute to NFL legend Randy Moss and his acrobatic catches.
Woerner, a 4-star wide receiver from Rabun County made a tremendous catch on this 35-yard touchdown pass.
The ball was a bit underthrown, but that’s OK because the UGA commit went over the defender to grab the ball out of the air for a touchdown.
Woerner led Rabun County to a 42-14 win over Habersham.
Deejay Dallas, ATH, Glynn Academy (committed to UGA)
Like the two UGA commits above, the 2017 athlete led Glynn Academy to a win.
One of the reasons for that win was this 77-yard pick six.

Dallas jumped the receiver’s route, made one guy miss and was off to the races for a touchdown.
Glynn Academy beat Brunswick 28-0.
