Does UGA have a secret commitment?

Tremayne Anchrum, Sr., father of 3-star offensive lineman and UGA target Tremayne Anchrum, confirmed to the AJC that his son will no longer take an official visit to Athens. The Bulldogs told Anchrum on Wednesday that they had all the numbers they needed on the offensive line.

“Somebody committed yesterday morning,” Anchrum, Sr. told the AJC. “They still wanted us to come down for a visit, but the numbers didn’t work.”

That would give UGA its fourth commitment on the offensive line, and it’s believed that the Bulldogs are set to take five in the class of 2016.

Who is the mystery guy? It remains unknown. But there are several UGA targets to keep in mind, including 4-star Landon Dickerson, 4-star Willie Allen, 4-star Terrance Davis and JUCO players Demetri Moore and Garett Bolles.

As for Anchrum, it’s likely that he will now focus his attention towards Nebraska and Colorado with his decision looming on Oct. 12. But his father says Tremayne will consider all of his options. He took an official visit to Nebraska on Sept. 5 and is scheduled to visit Colorado on Oct. 3.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see UGA come back around, though. Anchrum’s best friend and teammate Julian Rochester, a 4-star defensive tackle, committed to UGA this summer. Bailey Hockman, the 4-star quarterback from McEachern, is also committed to the Bulldogs.
