Jamaree Salyer is rated the No. 1 offensive guard in the nation for 2018, and he is strongly considering UGA.

Salyer, a 4-star prospect from Pace Academy, told the AJC that UGA is one of the schools he can see himself playing for one day.

“I love Georgia,” Salyer said. “It’s close to home and I really like their school. I’m trying to get up to some games. They have a nice football program. It’s one I’d like to be a part of.”

Just how talented is Salyer?

Pace Academy head coach Chris Slade, a former NFL All-Pro for the New England Patriots, calls Salyer a future NFL player.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pounder showed off his skills in practice during a defensive line drill, which he also plays for Pace. Salyer blew by a double team with ease on consecutive snaps in less than two seconds.

In the video above, he says how frequently UGA coaches reach out to him and which other schools are near the top of his favorite schools.
