Georgia 4-star WR target Marquez Ezzard has set his commitment date
Marquez Ezzard isn’t t Nike’s 2017 The Opening finals this week, Beaverton, Ore.
Is he good enough to be there? Probably so. But that’s a matter for another day. The topic of the day regarding Ezzard is he’s accelerated the timetable for his decision.
Considerably.
The 4-star WR created interest Friday afternoon with a tweet.
I will be committing soon stayed tuned!!

He’s moved from a September or mid-season timeline to being ready to name his choice soon.

Just how soon? Ezzard told DawgNation on Friday evening he will announce his decision with what is expected to be a tweet July 8.
The 4-star prospect should narrow his options to two schools soon.
What are Georgia’s chances here? I would say they are good. He’s been to UGA at least six times. He’s been to Auburn often, too.

The 6-foot-1 1/2, 213-pound prospect ranks as the nation’s No. 12 athlete for 2018, but he’ll be a wide receiver on Saturdays.
Ezzard is a game-breaker at the receiver spot who combines big-time ability with consistent production.
The rising senior had 50 catches for 1,015 yards and 12 touchdowns last fall. That’s 20 yards per catch.
The 4-star prospect excelled for Stockbridge in the postseason. His showstopper moment came against eventual state champion Rome in the 2016 state football playoffs.
Ezzard ripped off 11 of those touchdown catches in his final seven games last season. That includes those 9 catches for 212 yards and 3 scores against Rome.
Look for the Bulldogs to sign 2-3 receivers for this cycle. If they don’t get the right pair, they might consider a third to increase the odds they find a big-time play maker.
