Jackson 5 lip syncs? Hit the Whip? Gospel rap? The state’s top recruits have other talents
We know Jamyest Williams can jam an elite receiver at the line and shut down the state’s best. But can he jam?
Yep. The tremendous 4-star athlete from Archer High School ripped off a spirited young Michael Jackson impersonation at the Rising Seniors Talent Show on Tuesday night. Williams sang lead for a rendition of the “ABC” by the Jackson 5 on Tuesday night.
When Carrollton offensive lineman Case Cook hit “The Whip” at the annual event, the room exploded. It appears he’s seen a Silento video or two in between hitting the weights and watching game film.
And then there was Netori Johnson. The 6-foot-3, 325-pound Alabama commitment continues to state his claim for the most interesting and entertaining offensive lineman around. He dyes his hair, turns cartwheels and always has a smile.
What about beat-boxing? The Rising Seniors had that covered, too. Westlake junior linebacker Jaden Hunter might also rate as a 4-star MC, too.
Cook wasn’t the only lineman who got to show he could move his feet and slide around for something besides pass protection.
