Jacob Eason is not the only UGA commit visiting other schools
UGA’s recruiting spotlight has been focused all week on Jacob Eason’s trip to the Florida Gators.
But there are some other UGA commits quietly visiting other schools after all the coaching changes.
Julian Rochester, who is the top-rated defensive commit for the Bulldogs in this year’s class, reported to Louisville for an official visit on Friday. Why Louisville? The 4-star defensive tackle built a relationship with former UGA defensive coordinator Todd Grantham (now in same role with Louisville), and two of his former teammates from McEachern High School now play for the ACC school.
Should UGA be worried? There’s always a risk when one of your commits shows up on the campus of another school, but probably not. Rochester is also trying to enroll early at UGA next month.
The other UGA commit on alert is Tyler Clark, the 4-star defensive tackle from Americus. He’s on an official visit to Tennessee, per SEC Country’s Dave Hooker.
Should the Bulldogs be concerned here? It’s hard to get a read because Clark keeps things close to the vest, but he has always stated that he intended to visit other schools.
Back to Eason: Will he stay at UGA? Will he flip to Florida? Will he follow former UGA coach Mark Richt to Miami? His QB coach feels like the Florida trip is a search for a “safe No. 2 school,” per DawgNation’s Jeff Sentell.

For all those asking, I'd put Florida's chances of flipping Jacob Eason at more than 50% at this time. He still has plans to visit UGA.
