ALLATOONA, Ga. — Justin Fields, the nation’s top recruit, according to 247Sports, scored 2 passing and 2 rushing touchdowns in a 27-10 Harrison win over Allatoona on Friday night.
Fields entered the game with 18 total touchdowns in four games. Before Friday, the 5-star dual-threat quarterback completed 63 percent of his passes for 821 yards, 10 touchdowns and 1 interception. He’s rushed for 476 yards (119 yards per game) and 8 touchdowns.
In addition to being the nation’s top recruit, Fields is the top uncommitted recruit, too. The one-time Penn State commitment has been vague about his intentions, but the race for his commitment looks to be dominated by Georgia and Florida State. Fields took an official visit to LSU for the Tigers’ win over BYU in Week 2, and last weekend, Fields visited Georgia for the Bulldogs’ win over Samford.
