Major 5-star UGA target will now take an official visit to Alabama
The No. 1 tight end in the country is definitely a wanted man at UGA. Isaac Nauta visited UGA for the Alabama game and by all accounts had a great visit. That was the first of the official visits he had set up.
Yet Nauta made the decision on Sunday night to swap out one of his four remaining visits. The 5-star recruit is dropping Southern California from his official visit list and will now go to Alabama for the LSU game instead. USC was one of the first four visits he set up earlier this summer.
That’s big news. Nauta is going on an official visit to Michigan this week and will also visit Ole Miss and TCU later this season.
USC was also in the headlines on Sunday evening for a different reason. A published report came out on Sunday night that USC head coach Steve Sarkisian is taking a forced leave of absence.
Nauta told the AJC’s DawgNation.com in August that Alabama started recruiting him hard after he de-committed from FSU earlier this summer. The Crimson Tide was in serious contention at the time for Nauta’s fifth official visit slot which eventually went to Ole Miss.
I have decided to flip my official from USC to Alabama for the LSU game #rolltide ?
