Major UGA target has scheduled an official visit to Ohio State
Demetris Robertson, a 4-star athlete from Savannah, is a major UGA recruiting target for the Class of 2016. He’s kept Stanford as his leader because he has prioritized great academics when it comes to his college decision.
He’s already taken official visits to Cal and Notre Dame but appears to have a third trip in mind. Scout.com’s Chad Simmons is reporting that Robertson has also set up an official visit to top-ranked Ohio State for the Michigan State game on Nov. 21.
The Savannah Christian standout is rated as the nation’s No. 2 athlete for 2016. He has told DawgNation that he also wants to take official visits to Stanford and Georgia Tech.
Robertson is also considering UGA and Alabama. He said during the summer he wouldn’t need to take an official visit to either one of those schools because of proximity and the notion he’s already seen those places many times.
He de-committed from Alabama back in May. The projected Saturday receiver and defensive back had been committed to the Crimson Tide for almost a year.
