Mark Richt has another in-home visit with UGA commit
Mark Richt’s recruiting tour continued on Sunday.
After traveling cross country to visit 5-star quarterback Jacob Eason in Washington to having squirrel for dinner with 4-star offensive lineman Ben Cleveland, Richt was visiting with 4-star defensive lineman Julian Rochester a day after an overtime win over Georgia Southern. Richt is allowed to visit Rochester because the UGA commit has already signed his financial aid agreement, which allows for recruits and schools to have unlimited contact.
Rochester finished up his senior season at McEachern High School with a 10-2 record. His Indians fell to Archer in the second round of the Georgia state playoffs this past Friday in heartbreaking fashion. He took his official visit to UGA on Oct. 16 and has visited the school multiple times since then. He’ll take part in the U.S. Army All-American game on Jan. 9 and will enroll at UGA shortly thereafter.
