METAIRIE, La. — Kristian Fulton hasn’t been on UGA’s campus yet, but that could be changing soon.

Fulton, the nation’s No. 4 cornerback, told the AJC’s DawgNation.com that he is considering taking an official visit to UGA.

The Archbishop Rummel High School standout says he’s been in frequent contact with UGA defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt and offensive line coach Rob Sale.

“They’re still telling me I’m a top priority,” Fulton said. “They want to keep their defense where it’s at. They have a great defense every year. They feel like I can come in and contribute to the team. Coach Pruitt — he has won national championships at Florida State and Alabama, so I know he knows what he’s doing and he knows how to win.”

The 6-foot, 170-pounder has no leaders and is expected to wait until National Signing Day to make a commitment.
