Davion Curtis committed to UGA earlier this month despite never stepping foot on the campus of the Bulldogs.

That will change in the coming weeks.

On Monday, the 3-star receiver from Texas confirmed to the AJC that he will be taking an official visit to Athens for UGA’s contest against South Carolina on Sept. 19. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound receiver has yet to set up any other official visits but plans to schedule them soon.

Also in attendance for the game will be Devwah Whaley, a 4-star running back, Landon Dickerson, a 4-star offensive lineman, Jared Mayden, a 4-star cornerback and Tremayne Anchrum, a 3-star guard, in what is shaping up to be a big out-of-state recruiting weekend for UGA.
