Tyler Simmons had planned on committing in late August or early September, but he has decided to push it back until October.

Simmons, a 4-star wide receiver from McEachern High School, told the AJC that he chose to push it back to focus on his senior season.

“I’ve just been focusing on the team and putting in work with the team and I really haven’t been thinking much about recruiting, so with that being said, I just haven’t really been thinking about it and I haven’t made up my mind yet.”

It’s believed that Simmons will commit to either UGA, Texas A&M or Alabama. He confirmed that he will take official visits to those three schools, but does not know the dates for them at this time.

In the video above, he talks about a conversation that he had with a UGA coach recently and the school’s recruiting pitch as of late.
