The 6-foot-3, 272-pounder that Kirby Smart hopes to flip from Auburn went back to UGA for the second straight weekend.
David Marshall took his official visit to Auburn on Jan. 15, then took the same trip to the Georgia campus last weekend. The 3-star defensive end returned to UGA again this weekend for one more look.

Marshall did have one comment for Chad Simmons of Scout.com before he sent out that tweet. He told Simmons that he was “still strong to Auburn” but that was to be expected. He told DawgNation earlier this month not to expect any de-commitments or status changes with his commitment until National Signing Day.
That was how he planned his decision-making process to go once UGA really started to make him a priority.
“I just wanted to go back up there with some guys I knew to get one more look at everything,” Marshall told Simmons. My commitment has not changed.”
Marshall is rated as the nation’s No. 21 strong-side defensive end for the Class of 2016.
