When recruits commit to a school, one of the biggest reasons for that decision is usually how much playing time they would get as a freshman.
Good news for UGA: the Bulldogs led the country with playing 19 true freshmen in the season opener, according to ESPN.com’s Brett McMurphy.
Most true freshmen to play in opening week: Georgia 19; Army 17; Syracuse, Tennessee & Texas 15; Clemson & USC 13; FSU 11

Not only does this show the strength of its 2015 recruiting class, it will definitely help the 2016 recruits realize that if they commit to UGA, there’s a good chance of seeing playing time early.
