UGA makes cut for nation’s No. 1 guard
UGA won its season opener against Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday and got some great news on the recruiting trail.
Jack Anderson, the nation’s No. 1 guard in 2017, released his top 12 on Saturday night and UGA made the cut. Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Miami, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, SMU. Texas A&M and Texas Tech also made his list.
The 5-star from Frisco, Texas received contact from UGA coaches on Sept. 1, which was the first day 2017 prospects could receive contact through Twitter direct messages from coaches.
According to his 247Sports Crystal Ball, Anderson is projected by 75 percent of recruiting analysts to commit to Texas A&M.
