UGA offers a massive OL who’s rated as the No. 1 player in Kentucky
UGA beat Kentucky handily on Saturday. It hopes to extract a 4-star tackle from the state as well. Jedrick Willis, Jr., a 4-star tackle for Lafayette High, tweeted out on Monday he had just received a scholarship offer from UGA.
Willis is listed as the No. 1 prospect in Kentucky for the Class of 2017. He’s also slotted as the nation’s No. 53 player overall on the 247composite rankings for his signing class. That also makes him the No. 9 offensive tackle in the nation.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder now has 13 reported offers, including six SEC offers from the likes of UGA, Alabama, Kentucky, Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee. Florida State, Notre Dame and Ohio State also stand out on his offer list.
