CHICAGO — DawgNation has invaded Chicago. Check.

It only makes sense to use the Friday Intel on a topic that was on the mind of every UGA fan strolling up and down Michigan Avenue yesterday.

Georgia vs. Notre Dame. Who wins on Saturday night?

DawgNation proposed that topic to a legion of UGA commits and other top prospects this week. What did all the recruits think? See below.

If it turns out as most think, then UGA recruiting will get a big boost from the outcome on Saturday.

Class of 2018

Derrik Allen /Notre Dame commit/4-star safety/Lassiter/Marietta, Ga. — “I think Notre Dame will pull out a tough win, and it will be a low-scoring defensive game. I think it is going to come down to who wants it more. Notre Dame 24-21.”

Jake Camarda/UGA commit/2-star punter/Norcross/Norcross, Ga. — “I’ve for sure got UGA winning. I think they’ll win by at least 14. They have everything they need, and more, with talent. I think they have a really good team.”

Owen Condon/UGA commit/3-star OT/Bishop McGuinness/Oklahoma City — “Georgia 27, Notre Dame 21. Notre Dame has a tough time stopping Georgia’s run game.”

Trey Dean/Tennessee commit/4-star S/Dutchtown/Hampton, Ga. — “Georgia 28, Notre Dame 14.”

John FitzPatrick/UGA commit/3-star TE/Marist/Atlanta — “UGA 33, Notre Dame 28. Our receivers dominate.”

Four-star offensive guard Trey Hill predicts a big day for the Bulldogs and his former teammate Jake Fromm on Saturday. (Jeff Sentell/DawgNation)/Dawgnation)

Trey Hill/4-star OG/Houston County/Warner Robins, Ga. — “I think this is the game that my man Jake Fromm shows the world he can hit the deep ball pass. I know what he can do because he was my guy for three years. Go Dawgs.”

Chris Smith/UGA commit/ 4-star cornerback/Hapeville Charter/Atlanta — “My prediction is 30-21 UGA. I think they carry over their momentum from the last game.”

Azeez Ojulari/UGA commit/4-star DE/Marietta/Marietta, Ga. — “Georgia will win of course. Georgia 28, Notre Dame 14.”

Tommy Tremble/3-star TE/Wesleyan/Norcross, Ga. — “Sheesh. I don’t know, to be honest. I feel like since it is at Notre Dame they will win but I have no idea by how much.”

Jamaree Salyer/5-star OG/Pace Academy/Atlanta — “Georgia 28, Notre Dame 14.”

Class of 2019

Cortez Andrews/4-star S/Amos P. Godby/Tallahassee, Fla. — “Georgia wins by seven. Final score of 21-14 because the Georgia defense will not give up many points.”

JD Bertrand/UGA commit/4-star LB/Blessed Trinity/Roswell, Ga. — “UGA 28, Notre Dame 21.”

Rashad Cheney Jr./UGA commit/4-star DT/Cedar Grove/Ellenwood, Ga. — “Georgia 28, Notre Dame 7. [The keys are] our powerful run game and that amazing defensive line.”

Class of 2019 prospects Dominick Blaylock (left) and Ryland Goede both predict UGA will win Saturday. (Jeff Sentell/SEC Country)/Dawgnation)

Dominick Blaylock/UGA commit/5-star WR/Walton/Marietta, Ga. — “Georgia 27, Notre Dame 10.”

Curtis Fann Jr./4-star DE/Emanuel County Institute/Twin City, Ga. — “I’m not good with scores but I have UGA in this one because I have faith in them. I say UGA wins by a TD.”

Tyler Fromm/Unrated WR/Warner Robins/Warner Robins, Ga. — “27-21. Georgia on top. The defense is going to hold them and the offense is going to be rolling.”

Ryland Goede/4-star TE/Kennesaw Mountain/Acworth, Ga. — “Georgia 24, Notre Dame 13. Georgia’s defense wins this game for them with a few turnovers and they allow [Jake] Fromm, [Nick] Chubb and [Sony] Michel to do their thing.”

Luke Griffin/UGA commit/4-star OT/North Murray/Chatsworth, Ga. — “UGA wins 35-17.”

Nolan Smith/UGA commit/5-star DE/IMG Academy/Bradenton, Fla. — “UGA is going to win. It is going to be a hard one with a great group of guys at Notre Dame but UGA is going to pull it out.”

Allen Walker/3-star OLB/Milton/Alpharetta, Ga. — “I say Georgia because Georgia’s defense is crazy and [Jake] Fromm is going to pick them apart all over the field. Georgia 30, Notre Dame 26.”

Class of 2020

Sergio Allen/4-star DE/Peach County/Fort Valley, Ga. — “Georgia wins 28-14. Georgia’s defense will step up towards the end and Jake Fromm will keep the tempo going on offense. I also feel like Notre Dame won’t be able to stop Nick Chubb. If Georgia starts off fast then the score will be in the 40s.”

Class of 2020 QB Harrison Bailey expects to see Jake Fromm perform well on Saturday. (Jeff Sentell/SEC Country)/Dawgnation)

Harrison Bailey/4-star QB/Marietta/Marietta, Ga. — “Georgia! Fromm is going to have a coming-out party! 24-14!”

Jake Wray/4-star OT/Franklin/Franklin, Tenn. — “I think Georgia wins a close game 24-21. Nick Chubb and Jake Fromm make some big plays to help them win.”

Kevin Swint/4-star OLB/Carrollton/Carrollton, Ga. — “Georgia 24, Notre Dame 14. Georgia’s running game and defense will be a key factor in the win. Go Dawgs!”

Paul Tchio/Unrated OT with a UGA offer /Milton/Alpharetta, Ga. — “I got UGA winning 28-14. I think Jake Fromm will be a huge contributor and will have a really good game. The defense will also be really huge because they have so many athletes out there at once.”
