UGA commit Tyler Clark made waves almost a week ago when he said he was 99-percent committed to the school.
But his father, Tommy, said Bulldogs fans shouldn’t worry about that leftover 1 percent because his son has given zero indication on flipping.
“Tyler is still telling me that Georgia still stands,” Tommy Clark told the AJC. “ I just want the best for him.”
The 4-star defensive tackle has visited Auburn four times, but the elder Clark claims that’s just because his son enjoys visiting the campus.
Don’t expect Tyler to stop visiting other schools, either. His father says his son will take all five of his official visits, but he doesn’t know where they will take them just yet.
“We’re just taking all of our visits,” Tyler’s father said. “That’s all we are doing right now.”
The father of the 6-foot-3, 290-pounder goes on the majority of these visits, and he says he connects with both UGA’s and Auburn’s coaching staff equally. He calls both staffs “very professional.”
Tommy says his son should solidify his official visits by the end of the month. He could not say whether UGA or Auburn would receive one of his five officials.
