Count William Poole III among the honored guests this weekend for the South Carolina game.

The 4-star junior cornerback from Hapeville Charter told the AJC on Monday he will take an unofficial visit to UGA this weekend.

The 247composite lists him as a 4-star prospect, but Rivals ranks him as a 5-star player and much higher overall.

The visit is noteworthy because it will mark his third trip over the last two months to UGA. Poole told the AJC last week that UGA was “his most preferred school.”

“I’ve been down there the most and I know those coaches more than any other coaches.,” Poole said. “I have a great relationship with (UGA assistants) Jeremy Pruitt and Bryan McClendon. As a matter of fact, (McClendon) came by last week. He hits up my dad and everything. Every time I am down there, it feels like a home away from home. I am very comfortable down at Georgia.”
