BEAVERTON, Ore. — Matt Corral said some very interesting things on the first day of the 2017 Nike Opening finals.

He de-committed from USC back on June 17. That’s an interesting situation there with the nation’s No. 3 quarterback prospect for the 2018 recruiting cycle.

Matt Corral is rated as the nation’s No. 3 QB for the 2018 cycle./Dawgnation)

The Bulldogs are actually pursuing both Corral and 5-star Harrison QB Justin Fields at the moment. Corral said that he basically speaks with Georgia offensive coordinator every day.

Look for him to make a big series of college visits across the SEC in late July. He’s expecting to bring his family with him to UGA this time. His previous visit — when he was hosted by UGA starting quarterback Jacob Eason — came back in April.

He’s also planning to visit Alabama and Florida at this time.

It sure seems like that both Fields and Corral will wind up at two of those three programs when they make their final college decision.
