WATCH: 5-star UGA football commit shows off incredible athleticism with monster dunk
Is it clear by now that Richard LeCounte III is a thrill-a-minute recruit?
The five-star UGA commit has an inspiring personal story. He’s going to recruit the Class of 2017 as well as any coach on the UGA staff. That statement does not seem outlandish to those who have met the young man.
The junior recruit got his tooth knocked out at Rising Seniors practices back in December and never missed a practice rep.
He’s also a dynamite basketball player in his own right for Liberty County High School in South Georgia. This just adds to the stories the future free safety has done on the basketball court while visiting UGA. He was challenged to a three-point shooting contest on a trip last year.
LeCounte — always up for a test of skill — obliged. He then proceeded to make 10-of-his 11 tries from all around the arc, but with one rather large catch.
He managed that feat with his backpack on. He’s got game. No matter the sport.
The nation’s No. 29 overall recruit showed off the pogo sticks in his legs over the weekend on the basketball courts at the Ramsey Student Center along another unofficial visit to UGA. Check out the video of his impressive dunk below.
