BEAVERTON, Ore. — Matt Corral can throw a football a very long way.
If you didn’t know that before The Opening this week in Oregon, well, now you know.
Corral, the 5-star QB prospect who seems to slant at least a tad toward Clarke County right now, unleashed a 77-yard pass to win the Nike Opening 2017 Long Ball Challenge on Saturday night.
Yep, that’s right. 77 flipping yards.
Check out the featured video above for the tale of the tape. Corral, the nation’s No. 3 quarterback prospect for 2018, recently de-committed from USC on June 17.
He told DawgNation this week in Oregon that he pretty much expects his decision to come down to Alabama, Florida and Georgia. He’ll make those trips in mid-July in successive order.
Corral ranks as the nation’s No. 17 overall prospect for the 2018 class, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
