Tommy Bush made his college decision on Wednesday, announcing that he was signing a letter of intent to play at Georgia during his National Signing Day ceremony.
Bush was accompanied by several members of his family, all of whom were excited by the upcoming announcement — all except for one.
As Bush was preparing to put on his Bulldogs hat for the first time and announce his decision, a member of his family handed him his baby nice. While everybody else was smiling, Bush’s niece started crying, directly in front of the microphone that was on the table in front of Bush.
It certainly provided for a funny, memorable moment. To see how it unfolded, watch the video below, courtesy of ESPN College Football on Twitter:
Bush, a 4-star wide receiver from Schertz, Texas, chose Georgia over Michigan State, Baylor, Ole Miss and Texas, all of which had hats on the table. He hadn’t visited with the Bulldogs since Dec. 15, but opted to become part of the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation.
According to the 247sports composite rankings, Bush is the No. 37 wide receiver recruit in the Class of 2018, as well as the No. 23 recruit from Texas.
