It was quite a Tuesday for 5-star quarterback Jacob Eason. Let’s review the moments he won’t likely ever forget:

The video clip below shows the moment this moment when — shortly after being surprised by Wagner in the Lake Stevens (Wash.) weight room — that he took that moment in front of all the assembled media to reaffirm his pledge to UGA.

Eason later went in front of a school assembly to receive the award and also share his decision to re-commit to UGA a second time on Tuesday.  Eason initially committed to UGA back in July of 2014. He has since earned the distinction of being rated as the nation’s No. 1 QB prospect for 2016.

He carries a 3.83 grade-point average in the classroom and will enroll early at UGA next month. That’s after he will play quarterback in the 2016 U.S. Army All-American game in San Antonio on Jan. 9.
