Georgia is proving itself to be elite on the football field this season. Now that the Bulldogs have Justin Fields in the fold, it could set off a promising future of DawgNation dominance.

Fields, the nation’s No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2018, is a dual-threat quarterback from Kennesaw, Ga., who has already drawn comparisons to former NFL MVP Cam Newton.

Courtesy of CBS Sports, here’s video of Fields officially making his commitment to the Bulldogs.

Fields’ commitment was so big that one news station used a helicopter to stream the event.

Fields earned a 100 rating from 247Sports, which is tied for the highest-ever mark for a quarterback.

Fields decided on Georgia among a final four that also included Auburn, LSU and Florida State.
