Jacob Eason continued his impressive senior season Friday in a 61-10 win for his Lake Stevens (Wash.) team.  The 5-star UGA commitment had another big night, but added a few new wrinkles to his stat line.

  • Despite five dropped balls, he still completed 23 of his 35 passes for 291 yards and five touchdowns.
  • Eason tallied 22 yards on two rushing attempts. The nearly 6-foot-6 pocket passer called his own number on a pair of counter runs that went for first downs.
  • He did throw two interceptions.

Eason has completed 161 of his 231 attempts for 2,657 yards in 2015. That’s a 69.6 percent completion rate to go along with 33 touchdowns and just five interceptions.

His Vikings (10-0) will play at home in the state playoffs against Issaquah High School next weekend. Eason recently told DawgNation he felt Mark Richt would return in 2016.
