Here’s a mini-speed bump amid all the fast lane of recruiting information buzzing along the information superhighway right now.

Close your eyes. Imagine a UGA player going out on the town on a Saturday night in Athens, Ga., with the following ensemble:

Colorful shirt. An equally resplendent beanie with a ball on top. Polka dot pants. Vest. Scarf. No sleeves.

What Isaiah McKenzie wore is the answer to maybe the most unforgettable moment of the weekend for a couple of official visitors.

So….the next McKenzie drifts back to take a punt and then zags about 10 more yards horizontally than any returner ever should, think about how pulled off a scarf plus a sleeveless shirt in January in Northeast Georgia.

The man with the polka dot pants can surely get to the edge against Ole Miss when UGA needs it in 2016.

“Just being around that guy is so cool,” 3-star receiver Tyler Simmons said. “You watch him play on TV and then get the chance to hang out with him and he is a super cool guy. Really cool guy.”

What did the articulate 3-star receiver think about McKenzie’s wardrobe?

“You’d never imagine such a tiny guy on TV would dress up like that,” Simmons said. “Just a real funny guy to hang around.”

Brian Burns, a 4-star defensive end from South Florida, echoed that.

“That was crazy,” Burns said. “I have never seen anything like that.”
