A few of Arnaud’s former UGA teammates expressed their sorrow on Twitter:
“Bert” used to make any setting LIVE. I’ll never forget the times during workouts when the music would be playing in the weight room. Idunno if HE brought the mic, or if it was there. But, he’d grab the mic and start Emceeing the workouts almost Jam Pony Express style hahaa.

He even was on their first super bowl winning team. He came back sporting that FAT ring. The first SB ring I’d seen in person. Stuff like that was motivation that maybe we could do it too. He wasn’t a big Star and still got his shot. Like many of us after him.
