Georgia reportedly will add a former Minnesota offensive coordinator to its staff.

As reported by Dawgs247’s Rusty Mansell on Thursday, the Bulldogs will hire former Minnesota offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Jay Johnson as an offensive analyst.

Since 2011, Johnson has spent time with Louisiana-Lafayette and Central Michigan, in addition to his time at Minnesota. He joined Minnesota’s staff in December 2015.

The Golden Gophers finished 9-4 and 5-4 in the Big Ten this past season, capped by a victory over Washington State in the Holiday Bowl.
