New details emerge regarding Roquan Smith robbery case

Roquan Smith was the first SEC player taken in the 2018 NFL Draft.
There are new details regarding the reported robbery in Athens of former Georgia linebacker Roquan Smith, whose helmet and jersey were reportedly stolen. It appears that much more was taken from Smith, a first-round pick of the Chicago Bears in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Athens Police took a report on the incident at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, DawgNation has learned. The items were taken not from Smith’s home but from his car. Items that were taken, in addition to his helmet, Rose Bowl and national championship jerseys include:
- iPad belonging to the Chicago Bears
- 4 pairs of headphones
- Bluetooth
- Watches
- Sunglasses
- Nike athletic shoes
- UGA 2017 football helmet
- UGA 2017 football jersey
- UGA 2017 Rose Bowl jersey
