UGA picked up another big commitment on Monday night. And we mean big – as 4-star offensive tackle Joshua Braun stands 6-foot-6 and 335 pounds.
Naturally, Braun’s decision got a lot of attention on social media, and here were some of the highlights:
Nothing beats UGA assistant Sam Pittman, who took a break from the NBA finals to record this video — co-starring a live bulldog. Not only is Pittman arguably the best offensive line coach and recruiter (of offensive linemen) in the country, he’s clearly one of the best with his social media skills:
One media member pointed out the UGA beat out Florida on yet another recruit from the Sunshine State. Braun, who is from Tallahassee, Fla., picked the Bulldogs over Florida and Auburn, among others.
Of course, several UGA fans took advantage of this opportunity to tweet at Kendall Milton, the 5-star running back from California that the Bulldogs are heavily pursuing.
UGA now has four commitments along the offensive line for the 2020 class, led by 5-star Broderick Jones of Lithonia, Ga.
